Dense is built around four primary actives. Each plays a different role in supporting hair and scalp care. Together, they form a formula designed for daily use — not a one-time treatment, but an everyday routine.
Redensyl is a patented cosmetic ingredient composed of DHQG (dihydroquercetin-glucoside) and EGCG2 (epigallocatechin gallate-glucoside), combined with glycine and zinc. It was developed as a hair-care active that targets the hair follicle stem cells and dermal papilla cells.
The 3% concentration used in Dense is consistent with the percentage referenced in published supplier documentation. Many Indian hair serums that list Redensyl do not disclose their concentration, making it difficult for consumers to know whether they are receiving a meaningful amount or a trace addition for label appeal.
Procapil is a combination of biotinyl-GHK (a vitamin H–peptide complex), apigenin, and oleanolic acid derived from olive leaves. It is widely used in hair-care formulations globally and is designed to support the hair root and follicle anchoring.

Niacinamide is well established in skincare for its role in supporting the skin barrier and maintaining a healthy skin environment. In the context of a scalp serum, niacinamide contributes to maintaining scalp health — because a healthy scalp is the foundation for any hair-care routine.
At 2%, Dense uses niacinamide at a concentration that is consistent with its use in facial skincare products, adapted here for scalp application. It adds a conditioning dimension to the formula without making it heavier or greasier.

GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper peptide found in human plasma. It is used in cosmetic formulations for its role in supporting skin and scalp health. While present in a small amount, it was included deliberately as part of the overall formulation rationale.
The formula also contains Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein (0.5%) for hair conditioning, Glycerin (1%) as a humectant, PVP (0.3%) for light hold, and a blend of essential oils — Cedarwood (0.1%), Rosemary (0.1%), Peppermint (0.05%), and Lavender (0.05%) — selected for a subtle, clean scent that dissipates quickly. The preservative system uses Phenoxyethanol (0.8%) and Ethylhexylglycerin (0.2%), both widely used paraben-free preservatives.
The Indian hair-care market has a transparency problem. It is common for brands to list trending ingredients — Redensyl, Procapil, biotin, caffeine — on their labels and in their marketing without disclosing the actual percentages used. A serum advertising "Redensyl" might contain 3%, or it might contain 0.1%. Without disclosure, there is no way for a consumer to tell.
